HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE! I hope this video gives you some updated interior design ideas for your next renovation or decorating project!! Enjoy!!
No one should worry about what’s a trend or isn’t as long as it works for one’s taste. Interior design has nothing to do with trends but all to do with your personal taste and creating a home environment that works for you. Do not take these videos to seriously the content being the you tuber personal views nothing more.
This was a helpful video for anyone that might be in the process of decorating a space – handy to know what might be a little dated before you make big purchase decisions. As always with this type of video though, none of us are required to follow or avoid certain design styles. It’s all optional! Kirsten mentioned all light wood, but I have and love that in my space, and that’s totally fine. : )
I thought floating shelves were cool until I had them then EVERYTHING all the dishes get really dusty and your always having to run stuff through the wash even the stuff you don’t use!!!
Love hearing the ‘Open Kitchen Shelving’ died a nice death. By the way, you are really beautiful.
Well my house is back in style now….at least until next year. 🤣
I subscribe and like her suggestions, but I’ve reached the stage where I’m now into “my own trend!”
Great video and I love your ideas and feedback.
I love it
Who wants to dust them or eat off dusty dishes! Yuck!
Bankruptcy is going to be in style for those who chase fads.
Hi, Can you manke a video all about how to make your house cat friendly please!
Excuse me…who did determine those specifications?
Great tips as usual, Kristen. Love the thrifted or collected concept…whatever you do, make it your own. xo
Dark wood light wood never matters. Wood is a timeless material so it baffles me when someone says wood is outdated lol.
I’ve had all these things……twice, so the lesson is keep what you love, it will come round again. 😀
I fell in love with a particular style? Era? When I was in my late teens early 20s over the last 30 years I have slowly collected items and furniture from it, few people recognize but my art deco inspired home is strangely enough considered timeless.
Design and trends are good for those who love it. I like to look at it but I have a permanent home and I say I love the look I love wether in style or not. I’m the one living in my house and I like to be surrounded by the things I love. You have a beautiful home and design is beautiful but I personally don’t follow trend or style. If you planning on selling the house eventually probably should stay in style boundaries. I want my home to be a home I love the things around me. 😊🌹💞
I would always want dark grout bc done the white grout and too hard to keep clean
While I like your ideas, you show photos of very expensive spaces. Why don’t you show photos of every day spaces from a home <$500,000!
